Mrs. Grabbe’s father operated Wabash Parts, Inc. in Vincennes for many years. Mr. Grabbe joined the company in 1956. Carl and Kathryn Grabbe operated the business until 1989, when it was sold to their nephew and wife. Kathryn died in 1990 and Carl in 1997. They understood that education is the key to a higher quality of life for individuals and for the community as a whole.
